Your Tribe.

Surprisingly quiet for a Monday campervan morning. Overnight rain has left its mark, the sky a very pale blue with little to no cloud of any real description. Accumulating drops of rain fall from the Oak, encouraged by the smallest of breezes. The sounds are these occasional drops, an over enthusiastic cockerel, Magpies and distant Crows, as well as some smaller birds. Two flights of geese pass over heading north. An absence of modernity, with the exception of an aeroplane or two. It is, as I say, remarkably quiet for a Monday morning. However despite the relative warmth my coffee is cooling quickly. I am joined by a curious Robin, which has. It has not happened for a while and it is a welcome bit of colour on a bit of a grey morning. A hiatus in drumming, after a busy few months, and I can put some energy into preparations for travelling to Scotland and joining community. People with like minded ideals, a like minded outlook and on a like minded journey. The Yin to the Yang of working alone , the Yin to the Yang of being a bit of an isolationist and the ongoing dance between the two. Also a realisation of the importance of connection. The importance of prioritising connection, after years of destruction of society, cultures, groups and families under the so called banner of “Libertarianism”. A banner for the get rich quick at the expense of everyone else brigade, the complete absence of connection, community and compassion. Not a lot to report this morning other than the ongoing journey of creating connection, community and compassion. It’s Monday and the start of the week, be gentle with yourselves. Lovely days people.
