“ Time has only one actuality, that it will pass either as it wishes or you wish it to.”

A later campervan morning this morning. A windy night meant having to get up and tie stuff down early hours so a lie in was called for. Rising this morning and it’s bright and cool. The sun is is up and fighting through the trees, who are drifting on an early breeze. The sound is that of bending branch and bough, fluttering leaves and birdsong, which is bright and cheerful. A blackbird is rooting through the undergrowth on the hunt close by, the rest of the birds remain high up and elusive. A deliberate choice of another quiet day yesterday. Walks into the local village and attempted conversations, reading and people watching. It seems being on the road has brought a need to stop and recalibrate. Last day today before the explorations continue into Tuscany. The van looks something akin to a passerby throwing a grenade in and closing the door, so todays tasks are already taking shape. Though there is no hurry. Time appears to be passing way too quickly here and there is still a desire to put the brakes on a bit and continue to try and slow down. It’s really not about time, it’s an about where I put my energy and I chose at this moment to put my energy into this place and this time. There are plans to be created, routes and visits to be decided and tidying and washing to do, but they can wait. I chose at this moment to be and listen to the trees and the birds and stay a wee bit present. I love this quote by Pawan Pandit.

Time appears to have become more important the older I have become, especially now. So lovely days people.

“ The lives of all people flow through time, and, regardless of how brutal one moment may be, how filled with grief or pain or fear, time flows through all lives equally.” Orson Scott Card.
