Late Again !!!

( Late post no signal )

A wet, windy rainey night gives way to a bright stunning Scottish morning this campervan morning. Heavy cloud clings to hilltop and valley sides. I am mesmerised by a thick layer of cloud rolling down taller mountains, into the tree line and bringing an increase in wind and no doubt a shift in the weather, blue broken sky over head, sun poking through to offer warmth. The weather seems to change in a heartbeat. A chilly morning and early coffee is welcome. Once more the sound of birdsong, cuckoo call and dark, peaty running water, babbling over rock and boulder into a nearby loch. A small waterfall brings the water life, froth and volume fill the air. Terns or possibly Gulls spiralling over the loch. A sense of wonder at nature and the quiet. A mixed day of blessings yesterday. To emerge from digital isolation to drive north to the west coast of Scotland to be amongst my drumming family for a few hours of absolute bliss, hugs, catch ups and rhythm, then to drop off the radar again for an evening of quiet and solitude amongst the mountains, hills and lochs of Dumfries and Galloway for a few more days. Leaning into technology to post my usual updates before quickly disappearing again. It’s amazing how difficult it has become to resist the urge to reply instantly to emails when they pour in after just 48 hours out of the loop. Lovely days people.
