Chains...

More rain this campervan morning. It’s not a bad thing it just is. A beautiful day of sunshine yesterday allowed the day to flow well. This morning is dark and cloudy and relatively quiet. The rain has driven away any sound other than it’s drumming on the van roof. I have been reflecting this morning on a beautiful passage written by John ODonohue ( Yes, I know, him again ) who talks of our inner process. He says “ If we wear thoughts that are too small for you, you will hurt, bruise and cripple your own mind. “ It hit me like a bolt out of the blue. Too often my thoughts have been limiting myself and others and how often they have also held me back. How often my thoughts of others have bruised my self and crippled my own mind and limited my own experience of them as well as myself. One sentence to open up a whole realm of understanding. How my small thoughts of self have stoped and constricted myself and my own growth. A real eye opener this morning. Lovely days people.

“ If we wear thoughts that are too small of you, you will hurt, bruise and cripple your own mind. “
