A start...

A pleasant if somewhat damp and grey campervan morning. There is no sign of the far off motorway drone. The soundscape is alive with birds, an absence of the starlings so far, but made up by the usual host of visitors and songsmiths. The cloud is grey and heavy again and there is rain on the air, fast becoming a shower. The birds now accompanied by the sound of rain fall on my surroundings. Any harder and it may hasten a retreat to the van. A huge crow has arrived in the Ash announcing its presence, its call greeted by a far off reply. Here we are at Friday, the passing of another five days and into mid March. I do however wonder when this weather will clear a little more consistently. Now this mornings share is slightly different. I have a small favour to ask, I have been working on something for months and was going to save it till campervan morning 900, but that seems an age away as we are only at 862. I have started a campervan morning website (www.campervanmornings.com) where I have put my last 150 or so postings as well as a selection of photos taken over the few years, which are constantly changing. There will be a section curating and looking at a few books that I have or that I continue to enjoy, but that bit is still in the development phase. I have also over the last few months been working on a YouTube channel, which now has the grand total of five or six short films on. It’s all a little self indulgent, plus a huge challenge to the ego, but it’s also a journey an attempt to keep moving on and not stand still. I would like to ask if you would kindly please subscribe to the channel, which is funny enough called campervan mornings. Get your friends to as well, actually anyone. It’s in embryonic form, but any comments would be gratefully received. I am learning my craft and challenging myself on lots of levels and that’s what life is about a journey and I would be delighted if you came along with me. I have a link below to a video posted this morning which will hopefully take you there. So please do subscribe and feel free to comment on the website or the YouTube channel. Dealing with a huge amount of imposter syndrome as well as the usual stuff that comes along when you put yourself out there, fear, vulnerability and judgement to name but a few. Thank you in advance and lovely days people.

“ The greatest thing in this world is not so much where we stand as in what direction we are moving.” Johann wolfgang von Goethe.
